The Glory Angel

The author of Hebrews states plainly that angels are sent to serve those who inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). There are significant differences between angels and humans. One major difference is this: Humans have a dominion mandate over the earth, angels do not.

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth" (Genesis 1:26-28 NKJV).

Angels are sent to serve us in fulfilling this mandate. They have a hugely significant role in accomplishing God's purposes on the earth and it is important that we understand it.

The bible makes it clear that there are many different types of angels. Like humans, each angel is created for a unique function and purpose. Specific angels are assigned to individuals, churches, ministries and even regions.

While Kathie Walters was ministering on Sunday at Fire and Destiny Centre (November 2012) she suddenly saw a golden angel standing on the cliffs where the Albatrosses nest (Tairoa Head). The angel looked just like the angel who was over Ruth Heflin's ministry. Ruth Heflin was known as the glory lady. During her lifetime she visted only a few places in New Zealand, one of them being Dunedin. After the service a group of us went out to Tairoa Head and invited the angel into the South Island.
